How and when will Bryan students be introduced to GetSet?
Students will learn about GetSet in Launchpad. Here they will be instructed to join the GetSet community and complete their profile. Throughout UNV 101, students will be encouraged (but not required) to head to GetSet and complete writing prompts that tie in with what the student has learned that week.
In conversations with students, you should recommend GetSet as a resource that can help with a variety of challenges, as outlined in our conversation guide.
Note: By the end of Launchpad, all new students should have:
- Joined GetSet
- Completed their profile
- Downloaded the GetSet app for iOS or Android
What if my student didn't complete Launchpad?
While completing Launchpad is highly recommended for all new Bryan students, it is possible that some will not, and therefore will miss having an introduction to GetSet.
Introduce students to GetSet with the following information:
- GetSet is a resource for Bryan University students to share tips and advice for being a successful student.
- Download the GetSet app for iOS or Android, or go to bryanuniversity.getset.com to sign up.
How should I talk to my students about GetSet?
When a student is succeeding: Encourage them to write a post on GetSet. Sharing their stories about succeeding despite obstacles will reinforce their growth mindset and inspire and encourage others.
When a student is struggling: Encourate them to log in to GetSet and see how other students got through similar challenges. Stories on GetSet are a helpful resource when a student expresses concerns about their abilities.

How do I set up my Insight account?
Using Insight, GetSet’s data dashboard, you will be able to view everything students are talking about on GetSet. For security reasons, an account administrator must approve your account before you can access Insight.
- Request an Insight account here.
- Your account administrator will review and approve your request.
- You’ll receive an email from us once your account has been approved and you can log in.
How do I use Insight to see what students have done on GetSet?
Insight currently has several user permission levels: Basic, Full, and Administrator.
- Basic Insight account users have the ability to view student names and basic profile data, including the date that a student joined GetSet. These users are not able to view student posts.
- Full Insight account users have access to student names, dates of activity, and student posts.
- Administrator Insight users have access to all student information and posts as well as high level data across all campuses and programs.
What if I can't find a student in Insight?
Students will only appear in Insight once they've joined GetSet. Students should have joined GetSet during NSO, but in case they haven't, instruct them to go download the GetSet app for iOS or Android, or go to bryanuniversity.getset.com and click Sign up.

How do my students access GetSet?
Students can access GetSet on by downloading the GetSet app for iOS or Android, or on the web at bryanuniversity.getset.com/login.
Can I create a GetSet account?
GetSet is a safe space just for students to interact with each other. Because we want to create a community where students feel comfortable speaking honestly about their struggles, faculty and staff do not have access to GetSet. You can always see what your students are doing in GetSet using Insight, our data dashboard.
