How and when will students be introduced to GetSet?

Once a new student begins classes, Success Coaches will send them an invite to join GetSet directly from Salesforce. To make things easy, an email template has already been set-up for your use: Salesforce > login > email > template > “GetSet invite”.

When having conversations with students, you should recommend GetSet as a resource that can help with a variety of challenges. GetSet is a place for students to share tips and advice for overcoming challenges to become a successful student.

How should I talk to my students about GetSet?

When a student is succeeding: Encourage them to write a post on GetSet. Sharing their stories about succeeding despite obstacles will reinforce their growth mindset and inspire and encourage others.

When a student is struggling: Encourate them to log in to GetSet and see how other students got through similar challenges. Stories on GetSet are a helpful resource when a student expresses concerns about their abilities.

Insight: GetSet's data dashboard

How do I set up my Insight account?

Using Insight, GetSet’s data dashboard, you will be able to view everything students are talking about on GetSet. For security reasons, an account administrator must approve your account before you can access Insight.

  1. Request an Insight account here.
  2. Your account administrator will review and approve your request.
  3. You’ll receive an email from us once your account has been approved and you can log in.


How do I use Insight to see what students have done on GetSet?

  1. Once your account has been approved, you can log in here.
  2. To see what students have written on GetSet, head to the Search posts page.
  3. To find specific students, search by name, student ID, or contact info on the Students page. Click on a student’s name on any page to be taken to their Profile page, where you can see all of their activity in one place.

What if I can't find a student in Insight?

Students will only appear in Insight once they've signed up for GetSet. If you don't see a student, instruct them to download the GetSet app for iOS or Android, or go to reup.getset.com and sign up.

Where should my students go if they need help?

How do my students access GetSet?

Students can download the GetSet app for iOS or Android, or they can log in on the web at reup.getset.com/login.


What will a student see in GetSet?

On GetSet, students can connect with one another on a variety of topics that impact their scholastic life. They have the option to create posts, answer daily prompts, join conversations on topics that interest them, and interact with their classmates.

Can I create a GetSet account?

GetSet is a safe space just for students to interact with each other. Because we want to create a community where students feel comfortable speaking honestly about their struggles, faculty and staff do not have access to GetSet. You can always see what your students are doing in GetSet using Insight, our data dashboard.
